A welcome letter from Mr. Spagnotti...
My name is Mr. Noah Spagnotti, and I love to teach Spanish! I studied Spanish in college and recently returned from spending a semester in Costa Rica. My hobbies include reading books, performing music and studying language. I'm super excited to be here at St. Michael the Archangel School, and I look forward to everything throughout the school year.
The most important things that I focus on in my Spanish classes are developing the students speaking and listening skills. I value these more than learning about culture or reading and writing. This year, I worked on setting goals in my classes and together with the students, we decided that it would be a realistic goal to focus on learning four new words a day (not counting the weekends). In total, this equals three-hundred and twenty words before Christmas time! I know that together we will be able to achieve this goal and more. I'm looking forward to a great year! |
